Description
The LogHawk LH-KG1500 is an electromagnetic full-automatic cutter grinder that combines robust construction with automated sharpening cycles to maximize throughput in small to mid-size board processing factories and printing plants. With a maximum grinding length of 1600 mm, this model accommodates a broad spectrum of industrial cutting blades, including guillotine knives, planer blades, and veneer peeling knives.
At the heart of the LH-KG1500 is a powerful electromagnetic worktable that securely holds the blade during the entire grinding cycle — no manual clamping is required. The operator simply positions the blade, engages the electromagnetic chuck, sets the grinding parameters, and the machine handles the rest. A 3 kW grinding spindle motor delivers consistent cutting force, while the reciprocating mechanism moves at approximately 14 m/min for efficient stock removal and fine finishing.
The total power consumption of approximately 5.0 kW keeps operating costs manageable. The worktable, measuring 1550 × 180 (200) mm, tilts ±90° to support angled bevel grinding. With overall dimensions of 3000 × 1000 × 1200 mm and a weight of about 1000 kg, the machine offers excellent stability and vibration dampening for precision results.
